I’m Iraz Raziye Özdemir Tüfekçi, an environmental engineer works at the Parks and Recreation Department of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM). As Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality/Urban Ecological Systems Directorate, our working areas are; protection, development and restoration of urban ecosystems and biodiversity, creation of biodiversity maps by taking habitat, flora and fauna inventory of urban green areas, determine and implement ecological-based strategies, provide capacity development in urban ecology, biodiversity and wildlife issues and to increase public awareness, create urban farmlands.

Biodiversity is under threat due to climate change, land and habitat destruction so we are developing a project to increase the bee population. In this context, we have a project to protect and sustain genetic and biological diversity. The introduction of our bee project attached.

We are looking for a consortium to be a partner in this call.
