Cluster 1: Health
歐盟和世界正面臨一個多世紀以來的第一次大流行病的挑戰。它揭露了社會和經濟系統的弱點，同時也提供了新的動力，使人們認識到衛生保健系統和衛生專業人員在回應人民需求、服務社會和支撐經濟方面發揮的重要作用。除了COVID-19給患者及其家屬造成直接痛苦，包括倖存者長期出現COVID-19症狀外，社交距離措施和封鎖正在對社會和經濟生活造成重大破壞，加劇不平等、孤獨和忽視，但也會增加存在感的恐懼、焦慮和痛苦，對心理健康和幸福產生嚴重的負面影響。面臨COVID-19風險的人群，如併發患者和老年人，尤其會受到這些措施的影響。因此，迫切需要進行研究和創新，以瞭解COVID-19和社會距離措施對人們健康和福祉的長期影響，進而制定有效應對措施，以實現歐盟的穩固復蘇。
